STRETCH INSTALLATIONS - FLAT BASE
The Neat-Trim range of metal edgings follows the same design concept as
Metledge, produced from the same high quality aluminium extrusions.
Neat-Trim has a flat base, making it an ideal metal edging for use on solid
floors, either mechanically fixed, or installed using one of the many Gripperrods
adhesive systems. Neat-Trim is the most popular range of single edgings and
is available in a variety of surface finishes.

With over four decades of manufacturing experience and development,
Gripperrods’ edgings are designed to assist the installer in creating the
perfect finish.The angle and sharpness of the teeth on the single and
double edgings for stretch installation ensure the firmest grip on the carpet backing.
Cover strips are precision drilled and countersunk.
All edgings have a protective film on the face, which can be easily removed once
installed.

The edge of the foam or felt backed carpet is inserted between the jaws of the
extrusion, the top surface then being tapped down to achieve a secure hold.
This section has a highly polished finish.
